Chief Digital Officer, Director of the Mobility Division, Managing Director Motor Presse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG
Tim Ramms was born in 1973. He studied Business from 1994 to 1999 at the University of Cologne. His first professional station brought him to the publisher Axel Springer Verlag as a trainee. Business Analyst for the Axel Springer Venture GmbH followed in 2000. In 2001 he transitioned to the online-magazine stern.de GmbH where he assumed leadership of Commercial Management and Business Development. In 2004, Ramms became Project Manager in the office of the Chief Representative of publishers Gruner + Jahr, where his area of responsibility was corporate investment management.
Ramms shifted to the Motor Presse Stuttgart in 2006, where he first worked as Technical Director for MOTOR KLASSIK, Oldtimer-Rallyes and online content. In 2008, he took over as Digital Director and was responsible for the digital strategy’s development for all online activities of the Motor Presse Stuttgart’s automobile sector.
Since October 1, 2016, Tim Ramms is the Director of the Automobile Division at the Motor Presse Stuttgart and is responsible for all media offerings, services and events for the brands AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT, AUTO STRASSENVERKEHR, MOTOR KLASSIK, and SPORT AUTO.
In May 2018, Ramms took over the position of Chief Digitial Officer (CDO).
Director of the Marketing Division
Markus Eiberger was born in 1969 and has spent much of his career at the Motor Presse Stuttgart. After his studies, he worked at the Vogel Verlag Würzburg and at Readers Digest. In 1997 he joined the Motor Presse Stuttgart as a Media Consultant and Market Researcher. In 2007 he took over the then newly formed department “Research & Services”, that also included the area of market research. In this role, Eiberger represented the Motor Presse Stuttgart in many committees and project groups from the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Media-Analyse and the Verbands Deutscher Zeitschriftenverleger. As of April 2011, he took on the role of deputy leader of the advertising department and in August 2013 he additionally took over the entire advertising responsibilities for the automobile sector.
Since August 2017, he is the leader of the entire marketing department. He is responsible for the marketing of all print products, digital web inventory and all important brand events for the Motor Presse Stuttgart. Additionally, he continues to lead the automobile advertising area and is responsible for the core operational activities of the company.
Leader of the Human Resources Division
Roland Kappler was born on July 21, 1965, in Ravensburg. After his apprenticeship to a Social Insurance caseworker, he started his career as a branch manager and auditor for the Barmer Ersatzkasse in Weingarten. Starting in 1991, he worked at the Schloßpark-Kliniken in Bad Waldsee. He was employed as the leader of the Human Resources Division for a total of six years and then immediately transferred to the Motor Presse Stuttgart where we worked as the deputy Leader of Human Resources and Leader of Training and Development. After twenty years at the Motor Presse Stuttgart, he took on the role of the Leader of the Humans Resources Divison in 2017.
Director Sales and Marketing Division
After her studies in history and politics at the University of Rostock, Britt Unnerstall, born 1980 in Unna, trained as a publishing administrator at Gruner + Jahr (G + J) in Hamburg. This is where she also began her career as a marketing assistant in 2006. In 2012, she switched to DPV Deutsche Presse Vertrieb to work as a project manager and served the company in various management positions in the following years. Most recently, she worked here as the director of the PoS service.
Since 1 October 2017, she runs the newly created Sales and Marketing division at Motor Presse Stuttgart, where all sales and marketing activities of Motor Presse Stuttgart and Motor Presse Hearst are pooled centrally.
